Favorite Novel

Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
"I made it this far and refused to give up because all my life I had always finished the race"

This particular novel is arguably the best novel I had ever read in my life. Louis Zamperini, an Italian-American, is an American Olympic Hero who competed during the 1936 Berlin Olympics and was a war veteran during World War II. He has survived a bomber plane crash due to failure out open in the Pacific Ocean, was adrift in the ocean for over 45 days, and even been captured and tortured by his eventual Japanese imprisonment. Zamperini has taught me that no matter how hard life may seem, you can always brave through it and succeed.
